Dear friend , ur bp is of course increased, but taking medicine depends also on ur age , comorbidity etc.. so consultant me for further treatment aspects.... For now u can reduce salt intake to 5gm/ day, can exercise regularly, reduce tea or coffee intake if high and of course quit smoking. Taking alcohol on a very low amount has some beneficial effect on bp and heart but most of the time patients can't control the amount and effect gets readily reversed with it so I generally don't recommend it.
