The most important thing while brushing is the technique. If you know the technique well, even normal toothbrushes are good enough but in case you are not able to maintain hygiene using normal brushes, sonic/electric brushes are helpful.

I believe electric toothbrushes are better for physically compromised patients like old patients or kids. For normal individuals manual toothbrushes are best with proper brushing techniques.

If you can afford one and know the right techniques of brushing teeth with that. Then voila, nothing is better than that.

Yes, electric toothbrushes do decrease more plaque and gingivitis than manual toothbrushes. So it is good.

Better than conventional brush as it reduces fatigue, more efficient in removing plaque if used properly

The method of brushing is what matters. Manual or electric brush doesn't have any significance as such.

Right technique is more important than brush. If you can manage manual brush is better too
