I have been having dental issues since a long time and the doctor has now asked me to get root canal treatment done. I have heard that this is very expensive and long treatment. I know that I need to get it done because if I delay it or do not get it done, it will worsen my teeth health and make it worse. But, I have some questions about this treatment. I want to understand as to how durable it is and will I need to get it done again in the future? If yes, after how many years will I need it again? How many times will I have to visit the dentist for this?

My son is aged 15 years old and he has teeth problems. He had too much pain and sensitivity since last month in his teeth and gum area. We visited the dentist and she examined him and said that he needs to get his root canal done. Since it is a matter of health, this expense cannot be avoided or delayed.
