Employee Health Scheme (EHS) Telangana Health Card

The EHS stands for Employee Health Scheme has been introduced by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh to provide healthcare facilities and cashless treatments to serving and/or retired employees and their dependent family members. The services can be availed at several empaneled hospitals across the state. The EHS Telangana scheme is designed to replace the current reimbursement facility and has new salient features like chronic disease treatment and post hospitalization care.

What is the Employee Health Scheme (EHS)?
The Employee Health Scheme falls under the Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust and is under the supervision of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The primary objective of the scheme is to provide healthcare facilities and high-quality medical services to state government employees.
This scheme covers Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government employees, pensioners, and dependent family members, allowing them to avail cashless medical treatments at Network Hospitals (NWH) or empaneled hospitals.

EHS Health Card
Once you have registered for the Employee Health Scheme, you can opt for temporary health cards for yourself, and your family/dependents. After verification and scrutiny of the application, temporary cards are generated. You can login to the web portal with your User ID and Password, and take a printout of the temporary card. The card can be laminated and used as the temporary EHS Health Card. Also, all the Mee Seva Centers offer laminated temporary EHS Telangana Health Cards. The cost of these temporary cards is fixed at Rs. 25 per card.

What is not covered under the Employee Health Scheme?

Those state employees who are already covered under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS)

How to search for employee enrollment status?

The state government has instructed all DDOs to collect the data of the employees of the state government. The data should be collected online, via web-based applications, for easy implementation of the EHS telangana. After this, the EHS Health Card will be issued. Sometimes, situations may arise where the employee data or data of their dependents need to be edited/corrected, or updated.The steps to do this are:

Status of employee medical reimbursement

• Visit https://ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in/web/guest/EHS, the official service link of the EHS telangana.

•Under the Employee menu, select the Employee Medical Reimbursement Status option.

•Select the option of whether the reimbursement procedure was initiated online or offline.

• Enter the Trust Number.

• Input the DME number and select the Search option.

• You can now view details like Employee Name, Patient Name, DME number, and the status of the reimbursement.

Status of pensioner’s medical reimbursement status

• Visit the Aarogyasri Health Scheme web portal, and select the EHS telangana section of the same.

• Select the Pensioner’s Menu, and click on Pensioner Medical Reimbursement Status.

• A new page will open, where you will need to confirm if reimbursement is done online or offline.

• Enter the Trust Number and the DME Number.

• Click on the Search button to view the reimbursement status.

Visit the EHS telangana official website https://ysraarogyasri.ap.gov.in/web/guest/EHS.

Select the Download Health Card option.

In the new window, enter the User ID.

Click on Go, and the EHS telangana Health Card will be generated.

What is the claim process under the Employee Health Scheme?

• The EHS telangana scheme provides cashless medical treatment to serving and pensioned state government employees. As a result, there is no need to follow up for the claim process. The concerned Network Hospital (NWH) will raise the claim after 10 days of patient discharge. Once the NWH raises the claim, the Trust Portal is responsible for execution of all claims related processes.
