In honor of her late spouse Raja Ramdev Rao, Rani Kumudini Devi, the first Lady Mayor of Hyderabad, founded the Ramdevrao Hospital in 2002 as a division of the Sivananda Rehabilitation Center. CSR activities:
In order to fulfill the hospital's mission to provide preventative and promotional health care to the community, the facility adopted 4000 pupils from six local public schools and two non-profit institutions and assumed charge for their wellbeing. All students receive free screening tests on the school grounds, and those who need additional testing or specialized advice receive it at no charge at our hospital. Also, should any such pupil need hospitalization, all of the hospital's services are provided without charge. The hospitalized student only has to pay for outsourced services, medications, and other supplies (although the hospital is working hard to secure finance for these as well).
Ramdevrao Hospital has sponsored the villages of Gummadidala and Anantharam in the Telangana State's Sangareddy District with finances and care. The residents of these settlements receive free access to the autonomous medical services of the institute.
